Dear Senator Harkin,

As a native Iowan and excellent customer of the Internal Revenue Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the Department of Homeland Security in an effort to determine the process for becoming an illegal alien and they referred me to you.

My primary reason for wishing to change my status from U.S. Citizen to illegal alien stems from the bill which was recently passed by the Senate and for which y ou voted. If my understanding of this bill’s provisions is accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the United States for five years, all I need to do to become a citizen is to pay a $2,000 fine and income taxes for three of the last five years. I know a good deal when I see one and I am anxious to get the process started before everyone figures it out.

Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had to pay taxes every year so I’m excited about the prospect of avoiding two years of taxes in return for paying a $2 ,000 f ine. Is there any way that I can apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an excellent result for me a nd my family because we paid heavy taxes in 2004 and 2005.

Additionally, as an illegal alien I could begin using the local emergency room as my primary health care provider. Once I have stopped paying premiums for medical insurance, my accountant figures I could save almost $10,000 a year

Another benefit in gaining illegal status would be that my daughter would receive preferential treatment relative to her law school applications, as well as ‘in-state’ tuition rates for many colleges throughout the United States for my son.

Lastly, I understand that illegal status would relieve me of the burden of rene wing my driver’s license and making those burdensome car insurance premiums. This is very important to me given that I still have college age children driving my car.

If you would provide me with an outline of the process to become illegal (retroactively if possible) and copies of the necessary forms, I would be most appreciative. Thank you for your assistance.

I hear on the news all the time about politicians asking for a Billion dollars for this, a billion dollars for that. Well can any real working stiff really comprehend what a BILLION dollars is? A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of its releases.

You know I may have been joking around when I wrote this title, but, in all seriousness this is finally something good written about Muslims. We always here about Muslim extremists, Islamic separatists and other Muslim pieces of shit. But what we rarely hear are good things about the religion and the people who follow it. I am not going to claim to know much about Islam or any religion for that matter. What I do know is that this story gave me a much needed NEW view on Muslims. Since 9/11 we all hear the word Muslim or Islamic and that terrible day is the first thing that pops into our heads. What most people don’t realize is there is a whole religion of people who are NOT extremists.

For those of you not from the Philadelphia area here is some background. A couple of thugs dressed in female Muslim garb robbed a bank which eventually lead to a cop getting shot (R.I.P. Sgt. Stephen Liczbinski) with an assault rifle. Now it warms my heart to know a local mosque is refusing to have a funeral for this cop killer. I think it is great that they are leading the way to show the religion is not all extremist anti-American freaks. It is also a good example for the kids in the community. I hope more churches, school and community leaders will step forward and make tough decisions like this. We need to stop making these friggin criminals heroes.

Fuck you too cyclists - you’re not exempt from the traffic laws just because your peddling, you miserable spandex covered neon reflective fucks. Fuck you too, pedestrians. Use the fucking crosswalk if you don’t want to get hit, and use it before the little countdown clock says ‘3′. You don’t have enough goddamn time to lope across four lanes of traffic.

Fuck you chick on your cellphone. Fuck you attitude packed minimum-wager that makes my coffee. Fuck you cops that spend all their time handing out speeding tickets. Fuck you douche bag doing ten over the limit in the passing lane on the highway. Fuck you lady using exact change at the counter at the grocery store.
